Helping people with kidney disease

The British Kidney Patient Association (BKPA) is a UK registered charity, working to improve the quality of life for adults and children with chronic kidney disease.

  • We provide information and advice for those with kidney disease.
  • We give grants to help patients and families with kidney disease, cover the costs of domestic bills, hospital travel, education and holidays.
  • We provide financial support to kidney units throughout the UK working to improve kidney services and patient care.

We know that life with kidney disease can be mentally and physically demanding; patients have to cope with changes in their health, numerous hospital visits, the effects on work and family life and associated financial issues. The British Kidney Patient Association is here to help you.
