There are many other ways in which we can help, and only a few
where we cant, so we advise you to try us, we can only say
no and very seldom do, providing there is a genuine
need.
The areas where we are never able to help are:
Items which are permanently fitted in a patients home such
as: Shower installations Boilers Central heating Stair lifts
Or any other items which could be considered a home improvement.
We never reimburse patients for bills already paid and never pay
loans, credit card commitments, etc.
We never pay court orders, court fines or telephone bills
Once a patient has been successfully transplanted, it is very
seldom that the Association is able to give financial assistance.
However, in the case of the rejection of the graft, travel costs
to hospital can be considered.
